The man hadn’t given him the box out of the kindness of his heart, he had given him the box to set the apes on his trail. He looks down with an expression of horror to find himself covered with mint leaves. He grabs the lid and prepares to open it up, but something huge collides with the rock behind him, causing the ground to shake from the impact and causing AANG to spill the contents of the box all over himself. (He takes out the wooden box that the injured man had given him and stares at it wonderingly. (Opens eyes with look of realization.) No… It couldn’t be… (Clutches side of head) Darn it! Why can’t I get away from these freaks!? No matter what I do, they always seem to find me. He sighs with relief as the apes exit the shot.)ĪANG (in his head): So tired, and I can’t even use my glider without painting a huge target on my back.
Thankfully, none of them seem to notice him.
He recoils as a hoard of gorilla-rabbits runs past the boulder. (We see AANG leaning against a large boulder, panting and sweating.
